Cancer survivor Karlie O'Hearn has big day with Arizona Diamondbacks

Karlie O'Hearn was chosen by the Diamondbacks to sing the National Anthem on Opening Day.

The 16-year-old attends Centennial High School in Peoria where she performs in theater and choir.

However, her biggest accomplishment in life happened when she was just six years old.

Karlie was diagnosed with leukemia when she was five and was in and out of Phoenix Children's Hospital for months.

After an aggressive treatment approach, Karlie went into remission and has remained in remission since her childhood.

Now she's accomplishing great things and only has her future in front of her.
