PHOENIX - The Arizona Diamondbacks announced a new addition to the Chase Field experience this season. Not another free agent signing, but an 18-inch corn dog stuffed with cheddar cheese, jalapenos and bacon.
According to ESPN , team officials revealed the new D-Bat Dog that will be available at Chase Field this season.
The 18-inch corn dog will cost fans $25 and will be served with a side of fries, according to the report .
A less expensive alternative will also make its debut this season: the Venom Dog, a foot-long habanero sausage with black beans, guacamole, pico de gallo and sour cream. It will sell for $10, according to ESPN reporter Darren Rovell .
The D-backs open the regular season in Sydney, Australia against the Los Angeles Dodgers on March 22 and will play their first regular season game at Chase Field on March 31 against the San Francisco Giants.
