The Arizona Cardinals selected Louisiana State University linebacker Kevin Minter with their second-round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.
With their third-round pick, the Cards drafted LSU cornerback Tyrann Mathieu, a 2011 All-American. Mathieu was dismissed from the LSU football program in 2012 for violation of team rules.
Minter was a first-team All-SEC selection and a finalist for the Butkus Award while at LSU.
The Cardinals traded their sixth pick in the second round to the San Diego Chargers and the Chargers used it to draft Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o.
The Cards received the Chargers' 13th pick of the second round and the 13th pick of the fourth round in return, according to the Arizona Cardinals Twitter .
The Cards acquired Jonathan Cooper in the first round on Thursday.
