Arizona Cardinals linebacker John Abraham apologizes for DUI arrest

Arizona Cardinals linebacker John Abraham has released a comment apologizing for his recent DUI arrest.

The arrest happened in Georgia on June 29.

According to Dekalb County court records Abraham is charged with parking in an illegal space and DUI.

The football star has been noticeably absent from the Cardinal's training camp since it started, but coaches are not addressing his arrest or absence.

Abraham pleaded guilty to DUI in 2003 after crashing into a fire hydrant in New York.

He was selected to Pro Bowl in 2013 with 11 1/2 sacks for the Cardinals
