Aggravated DUI charge sought against Diamondbacks' broadcaster Mark Grace

SCOTTSDALE, AZ - Scottsdale police have filed with the Maricopa County Attorney's Office looking for an aggravated DUI charge against Diamondbacks television broadcaster Mark Grace.

Grace was arrested on August 23 around 9 p.m. near Scottsdale Road and McCormick Parkway.

Blood tests performed on the 48-year-old Paradise Valley resident showed he had a blood alcohol content of .095, over the legal limit of .08, Sgt. Mark Clark said.

Grace was reportedly driving his vehicle without a required interlock device and his license was suspended for a prior DUI in Scottsdale on May 30, 2011.

Grace is taking an indefinite leave of absence from his job as television color analyst for the Arizona Diamondbacks.
