The Tampa Bay Lightning made a depth move on Tuesday, bringing in veteran forward Mark Parrish on a one-year, two-way contract.

The Minnesota native has spent the entire season with Tampa's AHL club in Norfolk, tallying 12 goals and 25 points.

Parrish posted eight goals and 13 points in 44 games with the Dallas Stars in 2008-09, and racked up 35 goals and 69 points in 142 contests with Minnesota from 2006-08.

Over 704 career games with the Kings, Panthers, Islanders, Wild and Stars, the 33-year-old has 216 goals and 385 points.

Entering play Tuesday, the Lightning currently hold the eighth spot in the Eastern Conference.
