PHOENIX - An NFL draft party with free admission and parking is taking place Thursday evening outside the University of Phoenix Stadium.
The Arizona Cardinals 2013 Draft party,, begins at 4 p.m. and gives fans the chance to meet Cardinals players, cheerleaders and team mascot Big Red while watching live coverage of the draft on giant video boards.
The Cardinals own the seventh overall pick in the draft, and many experts have predicted the team will look to grab a promising offensive lineman to protect newly acquired quarterback Carson Palmer.
Award-winning barbecue, beverages, and 2013 Cardinals merchandise will be available for purchase. The event ends at 9 p.m.
The draft party will also feature live entertainment from country band Chad Freeman and Redline, as well as a kids zone complete with inflatables, face painters and balloon twisters.
