A tropical disturbance is brewing in the Atlantic several hundred miles from the Cape Verde Islands.
This bit of tropical weather could be the second named storm of the year if it continues to intensify.
It's currently moving west at a leisurely pace of 10- to 15-miles per hour. As it moves in this direction, it's expected to gradually strengthen.
The National Hurricane Center expects this system to continue to develop and become more organized as it makes its way across the Atlantic.
Right now, they're giving it a 70 percent chance to form by the end of the week.
