PHOENIX - The movie "Locke" will kick off the Phoenix Film Festival's opening night on April 3, according to festival officials.
The film stars Tom Hardy, known for his roles in "Inception" and "The Dark Knight Rises," and is directed by filmmaker Steven Knight.
A press release from the Phoenix Film Festival described the film as a "cinematic experience of a man fighting to salvage all that is important to him."
This marks the Film Festival's 14th year and brought out more than 23,000 attendees last year, they say. The festival goes from April 3-10 at Harkins Scottsdale 101 Theaters
