SATURDAY 1/26

UNSOLVED MURDER VIGIL
Family and friends will hold a candlelight vigil on the sixth anniversary of Randy Lucero's unsolved murder. Silent Witness is offering a reward for information on the case. 6:30pm, University near Power, Mesa.

AMBER ALERT HEROES
The Arizona Highway Patrol Association will honor three Department of Public Safety employees that helped locate a missing Tempe girl for whom an Amber Alert had been issued. 2pm, Wells Fargo Arena, Tempe.

COLOR RUN
Rain or shine, thousands are expected to participate in the Color Run to benefit Special Olympics Arizona and Banner health. 7:30am, Tempe Beach Park.

SUPER CITRUS SATURDAY
St. Mary's Food Bank will hold its annual Super Citrus Saturday, encouraging Valley residents to drop off extra citrus from the trees in their yard to help those in need. 9am-2pm at four locations: North Phoenix Baptist Church, Shepherd of the Hills United Church of Christ, St. Mary's Food Bank Surprise, and McDowell Mountain Plaza.

SUNDAY 1/27

NATIONAL GUARD TO AFGHANISTAN
One hundred soldiers from the 819th Engineer Company of the Arizona Army National Guard are being deployed to Afghanistan. 10am, Army Aviation Support Facility, Papago Park Military Reservation, Phoenix.
