ASU FIRST RESPONDERS NIGHT
As the Arizona State Sun Devils host the Wisconsin Badgers, Sun Devil Athletics will honor the 19 Granite Mountain Hotshots and three recently fallen first responders, DPS Officer Tim Huffman, Phoenix Firefighter Bradley Harper, and Phoenix Police Officer Daryl Raetz. First Responder Appreciation Night will include a pre-game ceremony on the field with a moment of silence and ringing of the Victory Bell. Teams will also wear a number 19 helmet deal. 7 p.m., Sun Devil Stadium, Tempe.

NEW BRIDGE OPENS
A new $797,000 pedestrian and bicycling bridge crossing the Arizona Canal will open. 8:30 a.m., 15th Avenue north of Dunlap Avenue, Phoenix.

SUNDAY 9/15/13

CARDINALS HOME OPENER
The Arizona Cardinals host the Detroit Lions in their NFL season home opener. 1:05 p.m., University of Phoenix Stadium, Glendale.

MONDAY 9/16/13

JODI ARIAS STATUS CONFERENCE
Judge Sherry Stephens may rule on pending motions and may set a penalty phase re-trial date at a Monday status conference in the case of convicted murderer Jodi Arias. 8:30 a.m., Maricopa County Superior Court, Phoenix.
