SHOT BY DPS FUNERAL
Local civil rights and community leaders will attend the funeral for 16-year-old Alexander Wilson, shot and killed by a DPS officer earlier this month. 10:30 a.m., Emmanuel Church of God in Christ, Phoenix.

CHRISTMAS NIGHT CHOKING SENTENCING
Jutrina Tillman, who pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct in connection with allegedly trying to choke her 5-year-old son on Christmas night, is scheduled to be sentenced. 8:30 a.m., Maricopa County Superior Court, Phoenix.

CHILD SAFETY BUDGET
A number of child advocacy groups along with mothers and foster mothers will talk about Governor Brewer's funding proposal for child safety and share their first-hand experiences with the CPS system. 1 p.m., Historic Senate Chamber, Arizona State Capitol, Phoenix.

ASU UNDIE RUN
