TUITION HEARINGS
The Arizona Board of Regents will hear testimony and public comment on tuition and fee proposals for the 2014-2015 academic year. Arizona State’s proposal calls for no tuition increase for resident undergraduate students and a three percent increase for non-resident students. 5 p.m., Alumni Lounge, Memorial Union, Arizona State University, Tempe.

HAMMER MURDER TRIAL
After more than a week off, the murder trial of Marissa Devault resumes. 10:30 a.m., Maricopa County Superior Court, Phoenix.

MICKEY THE PIT BULL HEARING
The fate of Mickey the Pit Bull will be in the hands of the court after a vicious dog hearing. Mickey was involved in a bite incident last month. 8:30 a.m., Phoenix Municipal Court.

WATER SAFETY DAY
More than 1,000 first grade students will learn about water safety at an event featuring fire trucks and rescue boats, a live music show, and a carnival area. 9 a.m., Mesa Community College.
