BUS AIDE ATTEMPT MOLEST SENTENCING
Andres Mendoza, a bus aide who pleaded guilty to three counts of attempted child molestation, is scheduled to be sentenced. He was accused of molesting a special needs student. 8:30 a.m., Maricopa County Superior Court, Phoenix.

ABORTION RESTRICTIONS
A federal court ruling Monday cleared the way for new abortion restrictions to take effect Tuesday. The new rules ban pill-induced abortions after seven weeks of pregnancy.

APRIL POOLS DAY
The Phoenix Fire Department will put on a mock drowning and rescue to raise awareness for water safety. 11 a.m., Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort, Phoenix.
