GOVERNOR TO TAIWAN
Governor Jan Brewer leaves Thursday on a four-day trade mission trip to Taiwan, leading a delegation aimed at increasing business and tourism ties.

PHOENIXMART
The PhoenixMart Global Commerce Center breaks ground Thursday. The 585-acre center is projected to create nearly 10,000 jobs and will support manufacturing and distribution of goods in a huge variety of industries. 9:30 a.m., Florence Blvd. east of I-10, Casa Grande.

SPIRIT AIRLINES NEW SERVICE
Spirit Airlines is expanding its Phoenix service to include daily nonstop seasonal flights to Chicago O'Hare, Denver, and Minneapolis-St. Paul. 10:30 a.m., Terminal 3, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

BLUE MASS
Bishop Thomas Olmstead will lead the annual Blue Mass for law enforcement, fire fighters, and emergency medical crews. The ceremony will include the reading of names of those killed in the line of duty in the past year. 10 a.m., Ss. Simon and Jude Cathedral, Phoenix.

KATIE COURIC FOOD DRIVE
ABC's "Katie" show will be at a handful of Valley locations Thursday collecting donations for St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance as part of its "Challenge for Change."
