Republican governors from states across the country continue their gathering in the Valley for the Republican Governors Association's annual conference. Among those attending are Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey, Governor Nikki Haley of South Carolina, Governor Mike Pence of Indiana, and Governor Rick Scott of Florida. 10 a.m. press briefing and 11 a.m. session, The Phoenician, Phoenix / Scottsdale.

ARIZONA SPEAKS IMMIGRATION REFORM
An assembly of state community leaders are calling on Congress and President Obama to support and pass immigration reform. The group includes key religious, business, education, health care, and social service individuals. 4 p.m., Diocesan Pastoral Center, Phoenix.

TURKEY FRYER DEMONSTRATION
The Phoenix Fire Department will demonstrate for media how not to deep fry a turkey and how quickly a kitchen can catch on fire. 9 a.m., Fire Training Academy, Phoenix.

OPERATION SANTA CLAUS
Operation Santa Claus starts Thursday, collecting toys, food, clothes, and money for four local charities. Donations can be dropped off at ABC15 Studios, Sanderson Ford, Sanderson Lincoln, and all The UPS Store locations across the Valley through December 19. 7 p.m. kickoff celebration, Musical Instrument Museum, Phoenix.
