JERICE HUNTER PRETRIAL CONFERENCE
Jerice Hunter, charged with first-degree murder and child abuse in connection with the death of her daughter Jhessye Shockley, is scheduled for a pretrial conference. Her trial is currently slated to begin in August 2014. 8:30 a.m., Maricopa County Superior Court, Phoenix.

PALO VERDE EDUCATION CENTER
APS will hold a ribbon cutting to officially open the Palo Verde Energy Education Center, a facility showcasing how nuclear energy is produced. 10 a.m., Buckeye.
