A weekend of auto racing activity kicks off Friday night with the Lucas Oil 150 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race. 6 p.m., Phoenix International Raceway, Avondale.

REMEMBERING OUR FALLEN
An exhibit of photographs, letters, and other mementos honoring 140 fallen Arizona service members will go on display as a moving start to Veterans Day Weekend. 12 p.m., lobby of Renaissance Square, Downtown Phoenix.

SCHOOL ASSAULT SENTENCING
Newley Broughton, accused of getting physical with staff members at his child's elementary school and found guilty of aggravated assault, is scheduled to be sentenced. 8:30 a.m., Maricopa County Superior Court, Phoenix.

FAMILY CIRCUS PAVILION
A 9-foot bronze memorial to Family Circus creator and Paradise Valley resident Bil Keane will be unveiled as part of the dedication of Family Circus Pavilion. 2 p.m., McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park, Scottsdale.
