TEACHER SEX ABUSE
Dan Whitehead, a former Brophy teacher who pleaded guilty to sexual abuse, is scheduled to be sentenced. 1:30 p.m., Maricopa County Superior Court, Phoenix.

LOOP 101 MARYLAND RAMPS
The newly-completed Maryland Avenue HOV ramps at Loop 101 are scheduled to open by Friday evening. These new ramps should help with traffic flow at Westgate, Tanger Outlets, Jobing.com Arena, and University of Phoenix Stadium.

DBACKS AT CHASE FIELD
Although still Spring Training, the Arizona Diamondbacks play their first game of the year at their regular season home, taking on the Chicago Cubs. 6:40 p.m., Chase Field, Phoenix.
