CLINTON GLOBAL INITIATIVE
The Clinton Global Initiative University event kicks off Friday night, bring college students together to discuss global challenges. The opening session will feature former President Bill Clinton as moderator and former U.S. Secretary of State Hilary Rodham Clinton as one of the speakers. Sessions run through the weekend. 6:30 p.m., Arizona State University, Tempe.

RESIDENCY MATCH DAY
University of Arizona College of Medicine students will be matched with hospital residency programs where they will take the next step in their medical careers. 10 a.m., UA College of Medicine, Phoenix.

SUNS STAR WARS NIGHT
Suns fans at Friday night’s game will be able to take pictures with more than 50 Star Wars characters throughout the arena. 7 p.m., US Airways Center, Phoenix.
