WIFE MURDER SENTENCING
Michael Jay Cohn, a Scottsdale man who pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in connection with the death of his wife, is scheduled to be sentenced. 10 a.m., Maricopa County Superior Court, Phoenix.

McCAIN TOWN HALLS
U.S. Senator John McCain will hold three events in the Valley on Friday. 7:30 a.m. at Westmarc Annual Meeting, ASU West Campus, Phoenix. 9 a.m. at Student Town Hall Meeting, Grand Canyon, University, Phoenix. 11 a.m. at BAE Systems Employee Town Hall, Phoenix.

PROPERTY VALUATION NOTICES
The Maricopa County Assessor’s Office will mail out 1.6 million property valuation notices for Tax Year 2015 on Friday, with all classes of property showing improvement year-over-year for the first time in seven years.
