Goldschmidt's "Teaming Up For Education" program has made college possible for 17 Arizona residents since 2011. Seven recipients have since obtained their degrees from the University of Phoenix. The initiative is close to the Golden Glove winner's heart because he juggled playing for the Diamondbacks while attending classes at this institution. Goldy received a Bachelor of Science in Management in 2013.

Paul Goldschmidt shared where his passion for education stems from. "Just knowing the importance of college and finishing up my degree at the University of Phoenix," Goldschmidt said. "We've had a lot of great applicants over the past few years and we know there's a need for people to either start their degree or finish their education. Really excited to help people finish their education, move on and do great things with their lives."
