Arizona election results: 135,410 ballots still need to be counted in Arizona

PHOENIX - Secretary of State Ken Bennett said Friday, there are an estimated 135,140 early and provisional ballots that have yet to be counted in Arizona.

That total is down from Thursday's total of 163,482 ballots that had to be counted.

According to the Secretary of State office, the uncounted early ballot count is 12,140 and 123,000 provisional ballots were remaining as of Friday.

Bennett announced that 13 of the state's 15 counties have completed their work, leaving only Maricopa and Pima County with votes to be counted.

The deadline has passed for voters to show proper identification for provisional ballots.

The state canvass to certify the election results is scheduled for Dec. 3.
