Valley grocery store deals: Feast on Easter without going broke

Score some savings for your Easter celebration. Here is a glimpse of some of the savings you can find at Valley grocery stores.


Head to Fry's and save money on Cook's shank portion ham. If you spend $25 or more you can get one of those hams for just $.89 per pound. Fry's also has a great price on pineapples; you can buy up to four at just $.97 each.


At Bashas' you can score a similar deal on ham with no minimum to spend, so you can buy two hams for $.89 per pound. You can also buy up to four pounds of strawberries at Bashas’ for $.87 per pound. Bashas’ has a good price on a five pound bag of Russet potatoes for $.87 each with a limit of four. Or try some green beans for the same price of $.87 per pound with a limit of four pounds.


Make a pit stop at Albertsons and serve some strawberries for your Easter celebration. They have them on sale for $.75 per pound with a limit of two for that price. If you plan on spending $100 or more at Albertsons, you can save $10 with their coupon in this week’s ad.

Food City

Head to Food City and save some money on tomatoes. You can buy three pounds for just $.99 per pound with a limit of six pounds. You can also save on watermelon at Food City. You can purchase six pounds for just $.96 with a limit of three. Cash in on some savings when it comes to whole fryer chickens at Food City this week. You can buy that chicken for $.98 per pound sold in a pack of two.


Safeway has you covered on gallon milk for $1.99 each.  You can also save on pineapples at Safeway. They have pineapples on sale for $.99 each.


Make a pit stop at Sprouts and save money on apple pears. You can buy three for just $1. Save on whole seedless watermelons at Sprouts for just $.10 a pound. Don’t forget Wednesday’s are your best days to shop at Sprouts because their previous and current weekly ads overlap on that day.
