Treasures 4 Teachers is a non-profit organization that receives donated items from several businesses and sells them to teachers for a bargain price.
They sell traditional and nontraditional supplies and out of the box items too. Anyone who works with kids or is an educator, preschool teacher, classroom teacher, even Girl or Boy Scout leaders, can shop at Treasures 4 Teachers. And even if you don’t qualify to shop at the store, you can still save.
There is an annual membership which costs $35 per person. This membership gives you access to a warehouse filled with donated materials from fabric to binders, markers, staplers, paper and more.
In my opinion it is worth every penny because of the amount you can save.
One of my favorite sections in the store is the “fill a bag for $5”. They will give you a medium sized clear plastic bag to fill it with anything you want from their $5 section of supplies.
Plus they have a section where you can fill a small bag for $1.
And one of the favorite sections for teachers we spoke with is the free section! Often you will see binders and other useful and think out of the box items in the free section.
Teachers we spoke with says the schools provide the basics but the rest comes out of teacher and parent wallets. So how can you save?
You can buy memberships for your teachers or simply tell your teachers about this store.
The less teachers have to spend... The less parents have to buy.
