This week's grocery deals: Save on chips, fruit chicken and soda

Now is the time to stock up on soda, because it's on sale for the same price at Albertson’s, Safeway and Bashas’.

At Albertsons and Safeway, get four packs of Coke, 7UP and Pepsi for $8.88.

At Bashas’ you'll pay $8.88 deal for Coke, Sprite and Dr. Pepper.

While you're at Bashas’ grab a six-ounce container of blackberries or a pineapple (or both!) for 98 cents. Bananas are on sale at $0.39 per pound.

If you live near Food City, you will be able to get three pounds of bananas for $0.99. Need red onions or baking potatoes? Same price at $0.99.

Drum sticks and bone-in thighs are on sale at Food City for $0.57 per pound. Grab up to four bunches of cilantro for $0.99.

And on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, you can get pineapples for a good price - three pounds for 99 cents.

Albertsons has a good deal on Sanderson Farms whole frying chickens or leg quarters at 67 cents per pound.

Lay’s family size chips, Fritos, Cheetos and Doritos are on sale for $1.49 when you buy three.  After that you’ll pay the regular price of $2.99.

And if you buy 12 32-ounce bottles of Gatorade, you’ll get them for 58 cents each.

Plus you can get 18 large Lucerne eggs for $1.48 and jumbo cantaloupe is on sale for 87 cents each.

Speaking of fruit, Fry's Food has red seedless grapes on sale for 88 cents per pound.

Also navel oranges and large gala apples are on sale.  You'll pay 77 cents per pound.
