Don't use this as an excuse to go on a shopping spree, but there are a lot of things you can get some great deals on this month, like TVs.
The Super Bowl is over, but the TV deals are still going on!
Retailers are making room for newer models, which means you can save some cash.
A representative at Best Buy says by the end of the month, they will totally be clearing the shelves of older TVs.
And February is a great time to buy fragrances, like lotions and perfumes.
Why? Because many retailers offer deals on gift sets for Valentine's Day.
For example, I found a Baby Phat goddess gift set for about $25.
It comes with the perfume spray and lotion. Without the gift set, you'll pay $1 more for just the spray.
If you'd prefer chocolate, hold off until after February 14, because once Valentine's Day is over, stores will be trying to get rid of their holiday items.
My advice, celebrate your relationship another day. This way you won't have to pay the high prices at restaurants and other places, plus you'll get the savings of post holiday items.
It's the off season for Broadway which means great deals for you.
You can find some two for one deals from now until February 10th on popular shows like "Stomp" and "Avenue Q".
Finally, Presidents Day is just a few weeks away, and that means lots of three-day sales.
Past years have shown you can save more than 50 percent on several things, including clothes, tools and furniture.
And remember, just because it's a sale doesn't mean it's the best price you'll find.
Do your research, and don't spend the cash if it's not something you need.
