TEMPE, AZ - Food is only as good as the presentation -- at least that's what I hear from several chefs.
The Tempe Community Action Agency is helping seniors learn to cook healthy, appetizing meals for free.
The free cooking classes are for adults 50 years and older.
They offer cooking demonstrations twice a month at three senior centers in Tempe and cooking classes every Monday night that focus on cooking healthy meals while staying within a budget.
Seniors we spoke with say they love that they can learn to cook foods that they are unfamiliar with and one of their favorite parts of the class is they are learning with friends.
The classes are free and open to the public.
No need to register, just show up and get ready to learn and to eat.
