Friends of the Public Library are having their winter book sale on January 25 and 26. That means you can score some books for a fantastic price.
The Friends of the Public Library is the warehouse that stores books, CDs, DVDs, and audiobooks from the Phoenix public libraries. So they need to clear out their warehouse and that means great deals on books and more.
Saturday the sale starts at 9 a.m. and lasts until 2 p.m. You can buy hardcover books for $2 and paperback books for $1. Plus CDs and DVDs will be $1.
On Sunday the sale hours will be from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m. The prices get slashed even more on Sunday; all books will be half off. So that means you can buy hardcover books for $1 and paperback books for $.50, and CD s and DVDS will be just $.75.
One more thing, if you serve in the military or teach and show ID, you will get 50% off all weekend not just Sunday for this sale.
Friends of the Public Library book sale is located at their warehouse which is near 29 Avenue and McDowell Road.
It is a little difficult to locate so maybe MapQuest it before heading out. Just remember it is a warehouse in an industrial area. The exact address is 1330 N. 29th Drive, 85009.
