Save on remodeling at Stardust Building Supplies

Are you in need of some home remodeling without going over budget?

Stardust Building Supplies in Phoenix and Mesa can help you out.

Stardust Building Supplies is a non-profit discount building materials warehouse that has three Valley locations. Stardust takes tax-deductible donations of new and used building supplies and resells them, which means awesome deals for you. A lot of their stuff sells for 50% off retail price.

They have donated items brought in daily, so inventory is always changing. They mainly sell items that can be used for home remodeling like tile, doors, windows, lighting and the list goes on. I recently found supplies to build a solar oven. For example, I found a window for just $5 at their Mesa location.

Just because something is at Stardust Building Supplies does not always mean it is a great deal.

Their newest location is near 40th Street and Thunderbird and I found some of their prices a little higher when it came to kitchen cabinets versus their Mesa and Phoenix locations which were priced more competitively. But again, do your research so you can verify if it's a good deal or not.

Stardust also offers de-construction services to remove fixtures and materials from a site for free, based on you donating the items they de- construct.

If you have a donation, you can either drop it off, or call Stardust and have them pick it up for you. Donations are accepted Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at both Valley locations.

Stardust also gives back to the community through two charities. Angels on Call Home Services provides underprivileged homeowners with basic repairs to improve their home and life.

Also, Stardust is a non-profit so that means no sales tax plus you helping a charity by spending money at their stores. So it is a total win-win.
