Free events for the entire family in the Valley

Leave your wallet at home because there are lots of free events around the valley.

Get your adrenaline at the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series .

It runs through Sunday, and you can get in for free just for showing a coupon .

The entry fee is usually $10, but you don't have to pay to get in on Friday.

Just print out the coupon, and you'll have a free day of racing, truck jumps and rollovers for the whole family to see.

The race is at the Firebird Raceway in Chandler.

 

If you're looking for something a little more laid back, head over to Tempe Marketplace on Saturday from 7 to 10 p.m. for some live funk, soul and R&B music.

The concert takes place on the district stage, right outside of Dave and Busters.

 

The Maricopa County Animal Care and Control is making it easy on your wallet.

You can get your pet spayed or neutered for free.

They will be at the Petsmart Charities Adoption event on Saturday and Sunday handing out applications for the free vouchers starting at 7 a.m. both days.

You'll want to get there early because it's on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The clinic will be held at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum located at 1826 W. McDowell Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85007

Finally, ABC 15's shred-a-thon is on Monday at participating Valley UPS stores .

That means you can show up with up to 50 pounds of documents and get them shredded for free.
