The City of Phoenix is proclaiming September 23rd as Girls Golf Day and that means lots of fun, free activities. The event is Saturday, September 23 from 9:30 a.m. until sunset.
It's for all girls ages five and older and you can expect free golf clinics, celebrity golf speakers, there's even a golf tournament... But there is a charge and you will need to register! Of course, there will also be food trucks so make it a day!
And since we're talking science, let's explore the stars at South Mountain's Star Party.
It's Saturday night from 6:30 to 8 at the South Mountain Environmental Education Center.
They will have a variety of telescopes for you to see to infinity and beyond!
