How to save money taking care of your pets: Surgery, vaccinations at Arizona Humane Society

PHOENIX - You don't have to go broke trying to keep your pets healthy.

You'd be amazed at how many clinics the Arizona Humane Society  has to help you save money.

We spoke to customers at one of their vaccination clinics who rave about how affordable the clinic's services are.

One man told us that his dog needed surgery and a local veterinarian quoted him more than $1,000. He then went to the Arizona Humane Society and received the exact same care for his pets for just $300.

The Arizona Humane Society also has vaccination clinics  every Friday from 8 a.m. to noon and from 1 p.m to 5 p.m. All the vaccinations they offer are just $19.

We priced the cost at a local Banfield hospital for a rabies shot and the cost was more than double that of the Arizona Humane Society's.

These clinics are first come, first serve at their Sunnyslope and South Mountain locations.

The Arizona Humane Society also has low cost  spay and neuter clinics  Tuesdays through Thursdays.

So there's no need to go broke to ensure your pets stay healthy.
