Many people plan to celebrate Independence Day this weekend, but here's another reason to celebrate! Gas prices have dropped, and you'll find $1.99 in several cities throughout The Valley.
Most of those low prices can be found at a Costco or Sam's Club. The cheapest price of $1.99 is in Avondale, Chandler, Gilbert, Glendale, Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe, overall about 10 cents cheaper from last week. The second cheapest price of $2.05 is in Mesa, down four cents from last week. The last lowest price is $2.09 in Peoria, down four cents as well.
If you're planning to go out of town, fill up in The Valley before you go because prices are more expensive once you leave the Phoenix-Metro area. Flagstaff's cheapest price is $2.30, Sedona's cheapest price is $2.34 and Quartzsite comes in at $2.21. Tuscon has a slightly cheaper, cheapest price than right here in The Valley. Tuscon's cheapest price is $1.95.
