Grocery deals at Valley stores this week

Here is your first look at Valley grocery deals this week.


Quench your thirst for cheap. Fry's has 32-ounce bottles of Powerade on sale for $.50 each. If you want a sweet treat for cheap, grab some green seedless grapes for just $.85 per pound while you're at Fry's. Fry's is giving you a reason to get your grill going. They have boneless, skinless chicken breasts on sale for $1.99 per pound, with a limit of four packs for that price. Plus, you can add some corn. Fry's has five ears of corn for $.99, and you can buy up to 10 at that price.

Food City

Food City is going to help you save on avocados. You can buy six small avocados for $.99. Or, try some bone-in, sirloin-cut pork chops or split chicken breasts for the same price of $.98 per pound. You can also purchase two packs of each at that price. If you want to score on some 73 percent lean ground beef, you can do that at Food City too. On Friday and Saturday, they're having a two-sale and that ground beef will be just $1.69 per pound. You can purchase two packs for that price.


Albertsons has a deal on large pieces of raw shrimp for just $4.98 per pound. You can also get a treat to keep you cool and your wallet full. Albertsons has Blue Bunny 56 ounce containers of ice cream for $2.88 each with a limit of four. If you need more dairy, save on a gallon of milk. Albertsons has those gallons on sale for $1.88 each, and you can purchase two at that price.


You can save on some ice cream at Bashas' this week. They have Dreyer's ice cream 1.5 quart, Fruit bars and Nestle Drumsticks on sale this week. If you buy any four of these items in one transaction, you will get them for $2.50 each. Plus, Bashas' has pork-loin, country-style meat on sale for $.99 per pound, and you can buy two packs at that price. Bashas' also has mangos on sale for $.50 each with limit of 12.


Score a deal on seedless watermelon at Sprouts this week; they have them on sale for $.19 per pound. Don't forget Sprouts ads overlap on Wednesdays which means double the savings.
