Don't miss prom because you can't afford a nice dress! I found a place where you can get a dress for free.
My Girlfriend's Closet is offering the free prom dresses two weekends in a row and this year they even have free men’s apparel.
They have more than a thousand gently-used dresses in sizes starting at 0 all the way up to size 30. Some of them still have a tag on them. They also have a small selection of accessories and shoes that they are offering for free, along with men slacks, and other apparel.
And it gets better. They will have volunteers on hand to help with alterations and makeup.
In order to get the free prom dress, you must be a junior or senior in high school and you must show your high school ID.
Once you choose your dream prom attire, it will be pressed and bagged and you're all set for prom.
They are still looking for volunteers and also still accepting apparel. So if you have some old attire that just sitting in your closet, donate it to a good cause. You never know how something as simple as a prom outfit can change the self-esteem of a teen forever and that’s good for our entire community.
