Free skating, chocolate and entertainment

PHOENIX - Put your wallet away because there are lots of things you can do for free.

Skating is fun and will get your heart rate up so why not learn to skate for free.

Skateland Chandler offers free skate lessons every Saturday from 9 to 10am.

The lessons are free and you're welcome to bring your own skates.

If you don't have any you can rent them from Skateland Chandler for $3 per person.

The free lessons are for the whole family.

This next freebie should for sure satisfy your sweet tooth.

Cerreta Candy Company is well known for its chocolate and they offer free tours for you to see how they make it.

The 30 minute guided tours are Monday through Friday at 10am and 1pm.

And they even offer free samples of their chocolate.

If you can't make it during those times, they do offer self guided tours Monday through Saturday between 8am to 6pm

It's the last night before the lights come down so they are ending with a bang.

The event is from 4 to 10:30pm.

There are more than a million lights, along with hot air balloons, food and live music throughout 16 blocks of historic downtown Glendale.
