Free food, health screenings, and fun events for the whole family

Finally the weekend is here and I have a whole list of ways to celebrate with free stuff.

Who says it has to be chilly outside to celebrate with Santa?

Glendale is having their annual Christmas in July event Saturday, July 19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Santa will be at the Glendale Visitor Center ready for pictures from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

You can also enjoy lots of activities including decorating holiday cookies, creating chocolate Christmas trees and you can't have Christmas without the eggnog.

There will also be holiday music pipes playing through the streets of downtown Glendale.

And we can't forget the spirit of the holiday; they will also be collecting food for their summer food drive.

And ladies, grab your girlfriends and escape the heat to experience the outdoors, indoors.

Cabela’s is having their Craft-N-Draft event Saturday, July 19, starting at 11 a.m.

They will have a Mocktail Mixology workshop - which are cocktails without the alcohol.

You will also be able to make your own outdoor journal.

The session is free but you will need to reserve your spot.
