Looking to find extra savings at the grocery store? Now there is an app for that.

It's called Favado. The app sifts through grocery store ads and alerts you when certain items are on sale.

It's a free download available in the Apple App Store and Google Play. Users don't have to create an account to view the deals, but you will if you want to create a shopping list.

From there you select your area and it finds the stores closest to you, such as Fry's, Safeway, Bashas', Target, Walmart, CVS, Costco and Trader Joes.

The app lets you look at the deals at your local grocery store. If you create a shopping list, it will let you know which of the stores has the particular item on sale. Then you can email the list to yourself and print off the coupons at home.

The app also lets you know if coupons are available which will allow you to "stack" and save even more.

So right now, Fry's has General Mills cereal on sale for $2.99. There are several printable coupons for a minimum of 50 cents off per box.

Another great tool to find savings at your favorite stores is ABC15's InstaSaver.
