Veterans Day is coming up and many restaurants are celebrating with free food.
Denny's is offering active, inactive military and retired military all you can eat pancakes on Monday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a valid ID.
Port of Subs
Port of Subs is also thanking military for their commitment with free food.
Show your military ID on Sunday and get a free small cold sandwich at any Valley location.
If that's not enough food, you're sure to get full at Famous Dave's.
Famous Dave's is offering former and current military personnel a free two meat salute.
That's a lot of food, a choice of two different meats, one side and a corn bread muffin.
You must show your military ID at any valley Famous Dave's on Sunday to get the free meal.
And if you prefer dessert, head over to Krispy Kreme on Sunday and get a free donut and small coffee. Of course, you need to show your ID.
O'Yeah Challenge and Golf Scramble
If you're looking for a fun family event, check out the O'Yeah Challenge and Golf Scramble on Saturday at Fiesta Lakes Golf Course in Mesa.
There will be nine sports activities including beach volleyball, horseshoes, and of course golf.
Plus there will even be golf experts on hand to give free golf tips and a bounce house for the kids.
The event is from noon to 8 p.m. and it's free to attend, but there is a cost for the challenges, $20 and that includes a t-shirt and 100 percent of the proceeds will go to local charities.
If you simply want to try a few of the challenges, there is no charge.
There will also be all sorts of food for sale including chicken tacos, sloppy Joe's, and quesadillas.
