It’s a given…when shopping you want to find the best price.  But how do you know the price you're seeing is really a good deal? Easy. Let your fingers do the work.

One way to find the best price on something is to use price-comparing search engines. Pricegrabber and Google shopping are popular search tools but often retailers can pay for placement on the searches, therefore not always giving you the most unbiased opinion.  Still it is a start and better than not doing any research.

My favorite ways to find the best price on something is by using eBay and Amazon.

You can find what the current price is for something by figuring out what it sold for on eBay. All you have to do is go to your search bar on eBay and click on advanced.  Next scroll down to sold items and check it off.  For any item you research, eBay will pull up all of the items sold and there you see what the most current price is for a sold item. This gives you a very accurate real time price.

I use Amazon as a base to find out what something is selling for on Amazon. Why Amazon? Well they are one of the largest retailers so therefore they have a lot of pricing power so looking to see what they are selling things for is a good base as well.

So now you have some tools to keep you on top of the deals.
