Peoria police have arrested a woman who was reported missing after a mobile home fire on Monday.

Five officers were hurt when they rushed into the burning home near 69th and Peoria avenues, thinking 48-year-old Georgia Gannon-Brown had locked herself inside.

Peoria Police Detectives interviewed her and she admitted to starting a fire in the bedroom of the trailer because she wanted to harm herself.

Police said Gannon-Brown left the home because of the intense smoke inside.

Investigators searched for clues inside the home and continued on Tuesday, but found no sign of her. They asked the public for information on her whereabouts.

Gannon-Brown was located on Wednesday and arrested on suspicion of arson and criminal damage.
