Teens suspected of robbing Peoria restaurant, police seek help

PEORIA, AZ - Peoria Police are seeking the public’s help locating two suspects who robbed a restaurant at gunpoint near 75th and Peoria avenues on Monday.

At about 8:30 p.m., two suspects entered the restaurant and one of the suspects brandished a handgun and demanded money, according to the Peoria Police Department. The suspects were handed the money and left the restaurant heading north.

The armed suspect is described as a Hispanic male about 16 years old, 5 feet 5 inches tall, with short shaved hair, blue gauge earrings, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue basketball shirts with a white stripe on the side, white socks and black shoes.

The second suspect is described as Hispanic about 16 years old, 5 feet 5 inches tall with a thin build wearing a black long sleeve T-shirt, with another shirt covering their face, dark pants, black shoes with white tips carrying a black duffle bag.

Another Hispanic man in his 20s was seen sitting in an early 2000 model white minivan in the area and may be connected to the suspects, police said.
