Seen him? Peoria authorities searching for suspect in attempted pharmacy robbery

PEORIA - Peoria authorities are asking for help in identifying a suspect who attempted to rob a grocery store pharmacy on Monday.

The suspect entered the grocery store, near 91st and Olive avenues, and presented a note to a pharmacy employee demanding specific narcotic pills. The employee refused to give the suspect the requested pills so the suspect left.

The suspect is described as a 25-35 year old black male who has short dark hair and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a red shirt, dark pants and white tennis shoes.
