Police have canceled a Silver Alert issued earlier in the day for a missing couple from Peoria.
George Abdo, 74, and Maureen Abdo, 82, were found safely Tuesday afternoon, according to the Peoria Police Department.
The pair had last been seen at their home south of the Loop 303 and east of Lake Pleasant Parkway on Monday morning.
Police thanked the public for assisting with the effort to locate the couple.
