Police: Man in custody after shooting at Peoria apartment complex

Peoria police say they have a man in custody after a shooting at an apartment complex in Peoria Friday night. 

Police say 38-year-old Henry Hudson has been arrested and faces multiple charges in connection to the shooting. 

 

 

Officers were called to the area of Peoria and Grand avenues around 9 p.m. Friday after receiving reports about the shooting.

As officers arrived they found a 46-year-old man who had been shot. He was taken to the hospital and remains hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. 

Police say it appears that Hudson and the victim knew each other and were in a common area of of the apartment complex when the shooting happened. 

Officers located Hudson at 1:30 a.m. near 59th Avenue and West Palm Royal Road in Glendale. 

Police say Hudson is expected to face charges for aggravated assault and weapons charges.
