Police: 3 hurt after Peoria rollover crash

PEORIA, AZ - Authorities say three people, included two children, were transported to a hospital after a crash Monday afternoon.

Amanda Jacinto, spokesman for the Peoria Police Department, said two vehicles collided near Grand and 75 avenues around 2 p.m.

One of the vehicles rolled over and caught fire, she said. The driver, a man in his 50s, had to be extricated. He was taken to a local hospital, she said.

Two children were also in the car and were transported to a local hospital. Jacinto said injuries varied from minor to serious.

Seventh-fifth Avenue is closed at Golden Lane through Mountain View Road.

No other details were released.
