Peoria Police Department asks public for help identifying debit card thieves

PEORIA, AZ - The Peoria Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying two men suspected of using stolen debit cards.

Police spokeswoman Amanda Jacinto said on July 1, two vehicles were broken into outside a home near 75th Avenue and Cactus Road.

Police believe the suspects stole two debit cards from one of the unlocked vehicles.

Just after 2 a.m., the two men were caught on surveillance video using the stolen cards inside a store.

One of the suspects is a 17- to 25-year-old heavy set male with brown hair. In the surveillance video, he was wearing glasses and a black t-shirt that read, "If you don't like Arizona."

The second suspect is a thin white male about 17 to 25 years old.

Police encourage anyone with information regarding these suspects to contact the Peoria Police Department at 623-773-7045 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
