PEORIA, AZ - A man was critically injured Sunday night when the pickup truck he was riding in flipped over a 3-foot wall.
Police spokeswoman Amanda Jacinto said the accident happened near 71st Avenue and Deer Valley Road around 8:30 p.m.
Jacinto said two adult males, and one adult female were in the truck when it flipped.
A 22-year-old man was thrown from the vehicle and rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
It is believed the other two people in the truck sustained minor injuries.
Police are still investigating what caused the crash. Authorities said no one in the car was wearing a seatbelt.
Police believe alcohol may have played a factor in the accident.
The names of the crash victims have not been released at this time.
