MCSO investigating after Youngtown Circle K robbed

YOUNGTOWN, AZ - Detectives are investigating after a Youngtown Circle K was robbed Sunday morning, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies say just after 3 a.m. two men entered the store near 111th and Grand Avenue. 

One of the suspects went behind the counter and took cigarettes while the second suspect demanded cash from the clerk, according to deputies. 

The suspects fled the area in a silver passenger car, possibly a Buick, with $80 in cash and cigarettes. 

Deputies say no weapons were displayed and no one was hurt. 

The Circle K is open at this time.
